Good for desk top

Size did matter for the space we had available, and it is near impossible to find a 15" tv, so this was our chose. It fits great on our computer desk, but the picture quality just isn't there. Tried to adjust color but it didn't change, and it is not a sharp picture. As we watch it only while at computer (home), it will serve our purpose.
Great Value For The $$$$$

I did alot of research before buying this 15" LCD Tv and this was by far the best one for the money. it's easy to set up, great picture, great number of inputs including an HDMI. The whole viewing angle issue brought up in other reviews is really a non issue for me. This is not the type of TV you lay on the floor and watch . This is more of the countertop or desktop variety. The sound is ok, but with all these tv's could be better. The best sound comes when you use the HDMI input. My only complaint (if any) is the quality of the remote. It seems to be on the flimsy. That aside, I would definitely reccomend this TV.
Get a coffee can......

and start talking into it.....That's what this TV sounds like. If you can live with that then go for it.

Good little TV for the money

I have used the Coby 15" TV for about a month and I can say that I am pleased with its features and performance. I researched a lot of TVs and read many reviews before purchasing this brand, and knew what to expect. This TV replaced an 8-inch tube TV. The Coby was easy to set up to run on cable and easy to customize. What I like is the cable and cord attachments are on the backside so cord and cable don't jut out from the side, and the TV is wall-mountable. We watch TV from two areas in the kitchen and purchased a wall mount that swivels and tilts, which helps maintain good viewing angles whether standing or sitting. Picture quality and sound are okay for my viewing needs in the kitchen. Yes, the picture is not the highest quality (would probably improve with an HD receiver) and the sound is a litte tinny (no problems with volume). Overall, the Coby is a good little LCD HDTV for the money.

Westinghouse LCD TV won't turn on?

I have a westinghouse w33001 30" LCD TV it just stopped working and won't turn on. I tried a different outlet and still does not work I also checked all the connections. I called Westinghouse and Best Buy and they said since it was over a year old it was out of warranty and their was noting they could do. Does any one know if their is any problems with this model or a way to check it my self the TV repair man wants alot of money to check it seems like I sould just wait and save up for a new TV with a better warranty any help would be appreciated thanks

When will manufacturers start making 1080p sets in 25 inch and smaller LCD TVs?

I already have a 720p, but I want a newer TV with HDMI and a digital tuner, but I won't do it until the 1080p sets come out.

It is unlikely that anyone will make a small set in 1080P. There is no reason to do so. No one can tell the difference between the two, at this size, unless you sit right on top of it. The 720P sets being made today (actually, most of them are 768P) frequently come with HDMI , ATSC and QAM tuners and the capability of displaying 1080i. Since devices that produce video at 1080P are capable of outputting also at lower resolution, there's little incentive to increase video capability to 1080P, since it has to be downconverted to 720P anyway.
Bottom line-you've got a long wait.
