My lcd tv screen is pure white. I can't see anything on it but I can hear the tv. What do I do?

I was watching TV and then because I was tired I fell asleep while watching TV then when I woke up my LCD TV's screen had gone white. I've tried turning it off, unplugging it for 5 minutes or so and nothing works. Am I going to have to return it to where I bought it because if that's the case I can't because I don't have the sales receipt anymore. The tv is a RCA 26 inch lcd hdtv.

Call them and ask what is wrong. They ought to have a record of the sale even if you have lost the receipt.

What's a somewhat cheap, efficient surround system?

I recently bought an LCD HDTV, the one with the blue, green, ect, colored inputs. I had this old surround sound/dvd player combo laying around and took a look at it and it only had the red, yellow, white inputs, and the red, yellow, white outputs to go to my tv. I'm looking for a surround sound system with the green, blue, red inputs/outputs so I can play 360 and watch movies in high def. I'm looking to spend up to $200.

If Yamaha makes something in your price range, buy it.
