How do I load an update to my Sharp Blu Ray player?
I have a Cruzer flash stick. I loaded the update from the Sharp website, but when I plug it into the Blu Ray player, it says there is no update info on the flash stick. Can someone help me? I am new to flash sticks & Blu Ray technology.
When you downloaded the update it was a zip file containing two files ... the update and a readme file (instructions). You should copy the update only to the flash drive.
If you plug in the flash drive to your PC you should be able to see the update file on the flashdrive (Use "My Computer" and navigate to the drive letter for the flash drive). Note the update has to be in the root directory ... not a folder/subdirectory. If this is NOT the case the BD player won't recognize the update.
If the file is visible from the PC on the Cruzer, and you followed the instructions on the readme file that accompanied the update, and the player doesn't recognize it, I suggest you call Sharp support.

After the digital switch, what will be the simplest way to record antenna television?
Will you be able to hook a VCR up to a new digital tuner TV, and record onto tape just like before?
Will new TV/DVD/VCR combo sets be able to record to VCR? Or is it looking like people are going to have to buy TiVo and other pay services?
The way the digital converter works is that it receives the digital TV signals and converts them to a certain analog output channel, like cable boxes do now (you select the channel you want to watch, and it outputs that program on channel 3 or 4 to watch on the analog TV).
So, when you get the converter, run the output to the input of the VCR and run the VCR output to your TV. The only problem you'll have is that the converter box won't change channels automatically to record certain programs at certain times.
A TV/VCR combo with a digital tuner should work to record the digital channels automatically. Otherwise, you'll probably have to have a TiVo to record shows when you're not home watching them.

Can I hook up our Wii fit to a television with a built in DVD player?
If so, what do I have to do to have it read the DVD from the Wii? I'm not a tekkie, so please explain in very basic terms. Thanks!!!
Well, from what I can understand is that you want to put the Wii Fit disc in to the DVD player and make it play by using that. No, you cannot do that because only the Nintendo Wii games can only be played on the Wii.
If you want to hook it up to a T.V. Then simply get the yellow, red, and white cords and plug them inside your T.V. with matching colors ( Example: red to red) and then you might have to press input or video on your remote for it to show up. Most likey Video 1 or 2
