How much could i sell this computer for?
Well I'm not sure if i should sell this computer or upgrade it.I got $200 in my budget plus whatever I'd make selling this computer to build a new computer so i need suggestions what to do.OS is Windows xp professional service pack 3-3.20 gigahertz Intel Mobile Pentium 4

You don't mention any software ... like OS or Office or anything ... with some software you might get $120 - $150 for it .... but it would need to be in real good condition ... it isn't much of a computer by today's standards

need help to convert 120v 3w power adapter to an 240v power supply?
i bought a wireless headphones from usa which on its adapter says it is compatible with 110 v and 3w, which i bought to india while here the power supply is 240v,
will it work fine if i only buy a power converter from 110v to 240v ( then what to do about the wattage??)
iam asking especially about the wattage because my hair straightener burnout even with the power converter because of the wattage issue as said by the electrician

Any travel store or almost any store that has a luggage department will have 240 to 120 volt converters and the adapter plugs needed to plug them into foreign power sockets. They're fairly inexpensive. I doubt that you can find one that will handle less than 3 watts. That's a pretty low wattage. Power converters usually list the watts they can handle on the package or you can ask a clerk. Your hair straightener must have needed more power than the voltage converter you had could put out. Some only do about 20 watts and your hair straightener could easily need 50 watts or more.

LCD Computer Monitor VS TV?
Thinking of getting a small LCD TV, maybe 24" to use as a TV but also as a computer monitor. Will the quality for computer use be as good as a dedicated computer only monitor?
Having a big screen TV as your computer monitor is nice, but the amount of resolutions you will have a choice between will be very limited. The biggest advantage is watching movies on the big screen. The image tends to not be as good looking though because of the limited resolution, usually 1024x768.

Removing a DVD/RW Drive?
OK folks, need some help, I have here an old Dell 3100 desk top. The mother board is fried, but the CD and DVD/RW drives work just fine. I am trying to get these out to put in a new case. I took out the screws of the 'drive cage' and the book says to just pull on it and it will come out, however SOMETHING is holding it in, any thoughts on what I am missing? All the wires are detatched in there as well.
The front of the case is off, as is the left side cover (facing the computer). There were 4 screws on the side, that I removed, and one connecting the cage to the lower cage that houses a floppy drive and the hard drives. Tilting did not help, the thing is loose, but seems that there is some gremlin still holding on in there. Hack saw?

It may have the cdrom is mounted to rails, if that is the case there should be two little spring loaded fingers on the front that you press and then pull the drive out at the same time. This was one type of drive mounting they used in older computers.
