I'm moving from Canada to Spain, will my Samsung LCD TV and Wii work over there properly? Help!?
1. I'm aware I would have to convert the power, but am not sure how easy and reliable it is to do that (I've heard horror stories of TV meltdowns)...
2. I'm not sure if TV broadcasts are in a different format that this TV (Series 6, 650 - Touch of Colour, 1080p, LN32A650A1F) would not recognise properly...
3. I heard that my Wii would only work with a North American TV, and that any new games bought in Europe would not work on a North American Wii - can this be true?
I really need to make a decision fast as to whether it would be better to sell both before I leave, or to ship them over to avoid buying the same things over and over again... Any advice and information would be very useful!! Thanks
Your best bet is to sell it when you are still in Canada and buy a European TV when you get to Spain.
(1) The Power in the USA & Canada is 110VAC 60Hz in the European Union the power is 230VAC 50Hz The frequency deference will be the main problem
(2) Your TV uses Analogue NTSC And Digital ATSC Tuner The European Union is PAL Colour Analogue and DVB-T Digital
I think you will be getting into a lot of unnecessary heartache trying to get your TV & Wii working in Europe

What are the benefits of built-in tuner or HDTV-ready?
A built in ATSC tuner will allow you to use a UHF antenna to receive HDTV channels over the air from the major stations in your area. But if you get cable or satellite with a set top box, the box will serve as your tuner. All future HDTV's will be required to have ATSC/QAM tuners.

1080p LCD under 32 inches?
Does anyone know if they make LCD TVs with 1080p resolution but under 32 inches? I need a new TV, but I can only find 720p, and don't want to buy one of those if I can get a 1080.
dont think so and to be honest your not gonna see any difference between the two anyway at that size. 40 inch and up is where 1080p will matter. plus 98% if not all HD channels are transmitted in 1080i (720p) anyway right now. gonna be A WHILE till its blu ray (full 1080p) quality. by that time, youll be needing a new tv

I don't want my game to lag on my TV.?
I'm looking to buy a LCD to get down on some halo. (32 inch, 1080p) and I'm wondering what is more important to prevent lag? Hz or ms response time? Right now, I'm juggling between the Panasonic Viera-1 which is a 120HZ but has a 8ms response time and the LG 32LD350 that has 4ms response time but is only a 60HZ. The Panasonic is also a 20,000:1 aspect ratio, while the LG is 70,000:1. By the way, I'll be using an Xbox 360 elite to game.
To me, it would seem like the LG is the way to go. I just want to make sure when I go online to shoot it out on Halo, MW and Borderlands that I'm not dead before I even see a bullet fired, you know?
Which is better?
Here's what I did. I decided to buy my TV at Best Buy. So I took my Xbox 360 to Best Buy and asked them if I could try it out on the different TVs I was considering (they have the TVs out on display so it's really easy to just hook up and play). If they want to sell the TV they should have no problem. Tell them you want to check for lag, they should understand. Then just test them out and make sure they don't lag!
